    The Derivatives Service Bureau today opened its second industry consultation on the proposed final fee model of user payments and other topics related to the cost-recovery financial basis of the DSB. The fee model will go into effect on 2 October 2017 when the DSB completes its start-up phase and becomes operational.

    Using the example of a specific swap product, the Product Committee of the Derivatives Service Bureau today opened its second industry consultation to define in principle the relevant International Securities Identification Number (ISIN). Industry feedback is due by 12 May.

    The Derivatives Service Bureau today opened the DSB User Acceptance Testing (UAT) platform to the industry with a revised and updated set of product templates that are consistent with MiFID II requirements.

    The ANNA Derivatives Service Bureau today announced that registration for the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) platform is open. The UAT environment is functionally complete and will enable prospective users of the DSB to complete testing before the October 2017 go-live.

    The new CFI standard will extend to more derivatives types, including swaps, spot, forwards, strategies, and complex options. Counterparties in OTC transactions will now be able to self-generate CFIs, though numbering agencies will still allocate CFIs with new ISINs.

This advance will offer a broader information set related to specific financial instruments, while eliminating the labor and complications of researching and integrating this information for use in trading, post-trade processing, risk management and regulatory reporting.
